Terms & Conditions
Liulum, a sole proprietorship operated by Rahul Rishi. Contact [email protected]. Version 2026-07-27. Not legal advice — have a lawyer review before relying on this in court.
1. Who we are
Liulum (Liulum, a sole proprietorship operated by Rahul Rishi) sells revenue-continuity monitoring, automation oversight, and governed recovery and, where separately agreed in writing, bespoke digital services. These terms apply to all purchases on liulum.com unless a signed proposal says otherwise.
2. Products & scope
Scope is exactly what you select at checkout or what is confirmed in a written proposal. Anything not listed is out of scope and quoted separately.
- The Guided Proof is a manually approved, seven-day evaluation of one real project and revenue path. It requires no card and keeps recovery disabled.
- Liulum Watch, Continuity, Recover, and Grid are the public plans. The exact checks, integrations, projects, users, evidence history, and recovery permissions shown at checkout or in your order form control your scope.
- Recover applies only to eligible customer-owned infrastructure and pre-approved playbooks. Shopify-managed infrastructure, payment movement, secret changes, destructive data operations, and unsupported provider controls are outside unattended recovery.
- AI communication products and bespoke builds apply only when a signed proposal explicitly includes them; they are not silently bundled into a continuity plan.
- Anything not shown at checkout or in a signed proposal is out of scope and is never silently added to your bill.
If a signed bespoke proposal includes an AI assistant, its responses are automated and it must disclose that role, stay inside the approved scope, and hand sensitive or uncertain decisions to a human. Associated records are processed in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
3. Payment
- The Guided Proof has no card authorization and no subscription charge.
- A paid plan becomes a recurring monthly subscription only after you approve the exact plan, market, currency, taxes, and price shown before payment.
- Public plans have no setup fee unless checkout explicitly shows one. Grid, additional projects, or bespoke work follows the written price and milestones you approve.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay (INR for India or USD for the United States). Applicable taxes (including GST where required) are added as shown at checkout.
- No discount, renewal change, or extra charge applies unless it is shown before payment or you approve it in writing.
4. Delivery & onboarding
- Digital services — no physical goods. After an approved proof or confirmed paid order, you receive client-only portal access and connect a real project.
- Register at /login, complete email verification, then finish /onboarding with accurate business, system, ownership, and escalation details.
- External URL monitoring does not require hosting credentials. Deeper telemetry and repair features require only the specific integration access described during onboarding.
- Features begin after the required URL, ownership, billing, and connection checks are complete; the portal shows the actual connection and monitoring state.
5. Optional AI interactions under a bespoke scope
- This section applies only when a signed proposal enables an AI assistant; it is not part of a default revenue-continuity order.
- Your customers may interact with an AI assistant by voice, chat, email, or messaging. We require plain disclosure of the automated role.
- When enabled and lawfully configured, recordings or transcripts may be used to deliver the scoped service, review incidents, and generate support records for you.
- Recording and notice rules vary by country and state. Our onboarding defaults to disclosure-first; you remain responsible for confirming the setup matches your jurisdiction and business obligations.
- If a conversation becomes sensitive, risky, or outside approved scope, the assistant should escalate to a human instead of inventing an answer.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information, hours, services, and escalation contacts.
- Own the rights to content and systems you connect; comply with the laws that apply to your business and any optional communication channels you enable.
- Keep your monitored URL and alert contacts current; grant only the minimum access required for optional monitoring or repair integrations.
- Do not use any optional AI communication feature for emergency dispatch or regulated decisions unless a written scope and applicable controls explicitly permit it.
- Respond to escalations we route to you; we are not liable for outcomes when you are unreachable.
6A. Authorization to access & modify your systems
By subscribing to a Liulum plan you grant Liulum a limited, revocable authorization to access and act on your website and related systems, strictly to deliver the tier you purchased:
- Liulum Watch — external monitoring and evidence only; no automated recovery.
- Liulum Continuity — revenue-path, journey, webhook, automation, and reconciliation monitoring within the connected scope, plus diagnosis and approval-based repair proposals; no unattended recovery.
- Liulum Recover — eligible pre-approved recovery on customer-owned infrastructure using allow-listed playbooks such as rollback, redeploy, restart, cache clearing, or provider-supported idempotent replay. Code changes remain propose-and-review unless a separate written authorization says otherwise.
- Liulum Grid — the written order defines included projects, agency roles, reporting, upgrades, and any additional controls. It does not grant Recover permissions to every project by default.
Hard boundaries on every tier: integration credentials are used only for the connection you authorize, encrypted at rest, and never exposed in client-visible logs; we never access customer card data or move funds; destructive database operations are never unattended; every action is logged and, where technically possible, reversible. You confirm you own these systems (or are authorized by their owner) and may revoke this authorization at any time by cancelling, rotating the access or token you provided, or emailing [email protected] — revocation stops further action but does not undo actions already authorized and completed.
7. Bespoke work
Website builds, custom integrations, and other bespoke work are not included in a public continuity plan. When offered, the signed proposal controls scope, revisions, delivery targets, ownership, and price.
8. Recurring subscriptions & cancellation
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically via Razorpay until you cancel.
- Cancel by emailing [email protected] or through your Razorpay customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period — no refund for the month already charged.
- No minimum term applies to a public Liulum plan unless checkout or a signed order explicitly says otherwise.
- When a subscription ends, monitoring and connected repair features are deactivated after the paid period. Account export and deletion controls remain subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable retention duties.
9. Refunds
See our Refund Policy for details. A bespoke setup or professional-service fee is refundable only as stated in the approved order and applicable law.
10. Intellectual property
You own your business content and, for website builds, the delivered source code and site IP after full payment — transferred via your repository. Liulum owns its platform, templates, internal tooling, and autonomous maintenance engine. We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing.
11. Hosting & domains
You own your domain. Sites we host run on managed infrastructure under your maintenance plan. If maintenance ends, you are responsible for hosting migration; we assist a clean handover.
12. Acceptable use
- No illegal, fraudulent, adult, hateful, or deceptive use of AI voice or messaging.
- No impersonation of emergency services, government agencies, or medical professionals beyond your licensed scope.
- Compliance with payment, hosting, telecom, and messaging platform terms used to deliver the service.
- We may suspend service for abuse or legal risk with notice where practicable.
13. Warranties & liability
Services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee specific revenue, ranking, or uptime outcomes. AI may mishear callers or produce incorrect responses — you remain responsible for reviewing escalations and critical bookings.
Liulum's total liability for any claim relating to a specific order is capped at the fees you paid for that order in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data on third-party services, etc.).
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold Liulum harmless from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the Services in breach of these terms, or your violation of applicable law. Liulumwill defend you against third-party claims that the Services, as provided by us, infringe that party's intellectual-property rights — except to the extent a claim arises from your content, your configuration, or use outside these terms.
14. Privacy & DPA
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and why. If we process customer or employee personal data for you as a processor, the Data Processing Addendum applies alongside these terms.
15. Confidentiality
Both sides keep non-public business information confidential.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Chandigarh.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one shown at the time of your purchase (currently 2026-07-27). Material changes to recurring billing will be communicated before they apply to existing subscriptions where required by law.
